Got the blues?

Rocking so many different shades of Blue today from my eyeliner to my skinny belt! Decided to chill out with the shoes. Been hunting for these brogues for weeks finally found them under the stairs. x_x. I love them so much, i've had them for two years and they'r still going strong.

Meanwhile i have a mini rant this morning, please is there anything particularly scandalous about my outfit? That's how i went somewhere this morning and this woman walks up to me and goes 'young lady are you comfortable in this your outfit' and i replied 'very, why?'. She didn't say anything but proceeded to stare pointedly at my legs. I'm just tired, if it's not busybodies helping you adjust your bra strap in public, its random women women not minding their business. I know my mother doesn't go about doing such so i don't know what's wrong with all these women. Anyway if you can't respect yourself, i will nicely put you in your place.

Got the blues

I was going for a meeting and the sun was blazing so , so I decided to wear white hoping the white cotton would keep me cool. No such luck! As you can see I'm still going strong with my 'natural' hair. Pictures were taken by mum, who kept saying 'you're getting fat' #FashionPolice LOL

Got my hair done on Saturday, I.HATE.IT. it's probably just new hair syndrome though, we'll see. i wanted to be super casual for the salon, but I decided to accessorize a bit which was a good thing because some people were actually wearing heels in Salon. o_O Perhaps they were going to a wedding after getting their hair done?

Orange Blossoms

Shopping in my sister's closet is so much fun! Found this chiffon orange top yesterday. im going to be so sad when she goes back. I toned it down for work with gold tipped nude flats and black pants, had a date after work so decided to jst swap the pants and flats for a body-con skirt and heels.

New Year, New me.

                                                            Happy New Year!!!
                                         I have 5 new year's resolutions this year

1) Be a better blogger and try to put up a least 3posts a week.

2) Quit procastinating. I have so many planned projects and ideas that havn't seen the light of day and my excuse is usually the fact that i work 6 sometimes 7 days a week.

3) Work less,Travel more. I swear i worked like crazy last year it was insane. I only left Lagos thrice all year, and one of those times was even work related.

4) Network more. I get invited to quite a lot of events but most times i'd rather just stay home, not very productive behavior considering the industry i'm in.

5) This one is kind of personal. lets just say it has to being better with my relationships with people.

Something Old.

This is one of the first dresses i ever 'designed' that my surulere tailor got right. I've had it for two years and it's still one of my favorites. Maybe it's the fit or maybe it's the fact that i made it out of one of my mum's old ankara headties (benefits of being skinny). i'm really not sure what it is, all i know is it's the one dress that never fails me when i have 'nothing to wear'

i have got to be the worst blogger(dare i evn call myself a blogger?) ever! I have sooo many posts in my drafts but finding time to edit and put them up is just the problem. Started a new fashion job which i'm really psyched about , so you'll be hearing a lot of stuff about that in subsequent posts.

What i Wore This week

This week was extra stressful, i now have a new found respect for all designers. Putting together a collection even a mini one such as mine isn't beans and the weather in lagos is soo  not helping, needless to say i'm not a fan of rain. It messes up my hair and ruins my shoes and makes me want to stay in bed all day.. aaanyway this is what i wore this week, so proud of myself i didn't wear black even once ! :D
